To use our services with Google Fi you DO NOT use Pirate Voicemail.    Instead you use “simultaneous ring”, which is a feature that allows us to answer scammer calls on your behalf on the first ring, instead of just when you choose not to answer.

How to setup it up?   Well you need to change the “Type of Phone” setting for the line, so that you choose “VoIP” instead of some type of mobile phone.   To do that just:

1) Goto the “My Numbers” page

2) Click on your phone line

3) If a box opens up about completing the setup, just click on the button that says “SKIP, I’ll do this later”.

4) Then in the box which is the properties for your phone, click on the drop-down for “Type of Phone” and select “Google Voice”

5) Click update to save the change

Now you have changed your phone to the correct type.    To complete the setup:

1) Goto the “My Numbers” page

2) Click on your phone line

3) If a box opens up about completing the setup, then you should now see an option for instructions for “Google Fi” (it is on the list of companies).

4) If the box doesn’t open up, then just click on “Test My Phone” and it will.
