Stop Spam From Ringing My iPhone
We don’t intercept your calls, we just work like voicemail – a smarter more secure version of voicemail. But without some extra setup your phone will still ring every time someone calls you, even spam callers. Most people don’t like this. They don’t want to be disturbed by nonsense calls. They only want their phone to ring if the caller is someone they know.
In this article we show you how to ensure that your phone only rings if the caller is a known contact (i.e. is in your iPhone’s contacts list). If the call is from an unknown number, your phone stays quiet, and we will handle the call and send you an AI summary about what happened.
Here’s how you set it up:
1) Upload your contacts to your whitelist: To protect your phone, we need to know which numbers you consider safe. If you keep your phone contacts up-to-date, then this is a great list of who should be on your whitelist. Using our Captain’s log app you can upload all your contacts to your whitelist in a couple of seconds. (On the Settings page, tap on “Import Contacts”, see screenshot below)

* Our strict Privacy Policy guarantees that your contacts are never used for any other purpose or shared or sold to other parties.
2) Turn on Auto Sync: While on the Settings page, toggle the “Auto Sync Contacts” option so that if you add new contacts, they are automatically added to your whitelist.

3) Turn on the iPhone feature called “Silence Unknown Callers: Find the “Settings” app on your iPhone and then go to Settings->Phone->Silence Unknown Callers. Slide right to turn on this feature as shown in the pictures below.

When you open the Phone app, scroll down to find the “Silence Unknown Callers”option.
