I have had a similar experience with the telemarketers getting nasty when they realize you are just wasting their time. I found your Ted Talk today and have been enjoying your pdocasts. Would love to see a mobile phone app for this. Would need to maybe even have it’s own dialer (yes this is a tall order, maybe partner with some little dialer app company that is struggling for users). Then, in addition to the pre-recorded bots, have a create your own bot section, where you put in different phrases of your own, and then your algorithm spits them out. Have an option to record the calls, and then another option to post recordings on website. Allow people to upvote their favorites, and you will drive traffic to the website as people look for greatest daily and all time. Have a way to receive calls from others on contact list while other call is running in background if possible, or simply hang up if you get another call. Would take this whole thing mainstream and go viral in no time. Hire people, borrow money, make this happen. Could actually wreck this industry with enough people. Keep up the good fight, I only wish I had $ to throw at my idea. I promise you , it would be an instant hit. Remember me when you are filthy rich by implementing this 🙂
