mark_maraschMemberSorry for the slow response. Is there a good time we can talk in the evening to figure out what’s going on?
mark_maraschMembermonkeythumper,
My apologies. We are having issues with Android 10 across the board. Google changed the operating system just enough that we’d have to build a substantially different architecture to make it work. I’m afraid we don’t have a workaround for this issue until we come out with an Android 10 compatible version.December 8, 2019 at 7:06 pm in reply to: "Unknown error occured. Please try again" when trying to login to App #5901mark_maraschMemberMichael, we are having problems with Android 10. It seems that Google changed the architecture just enough that the app won’t work, but you should still be able to log in. Is there a time where you are available in the next couple days where we could try some live troubleshooting?
mark_maraschMemberScuk23, we’ve run into some issues with Android 10 not allowing users to select the app as the default phone app. However, this shouldn’t affect your ability to log in. Please let us know your availability and let’s see if we can arrange a time to do some to do some troubleshooting on the login. I’m interested to know if it will work for you under Android 10 if we can get you logged in.

mark_maraschMembersteven_hiller,
Is battery optimization turned on for this app? Please try turning it off and see if that helps:
Settings => Battery => three dots in the upper right corner => battery optimization => all apps
Then, select Jolly Roger and tell it not to optimize for this app. Please give it a try and let us know.
Thanks!

Ethical Developer Groupmark_maraschMembersteven_hiller,
If you check your notifications, are you getting Error 510? If so, we are working to fix this problem.
Thanks!

Ethical Developer Groupmark_maraschMemberThanks, ty_rost,
We are trying to hunt down why a number of users are getting the 510 error. I believe we’ll get this fixed soon!

Ethical Developer Groupmark_maraschMemberThanks, David,
That’s a great idea and we’ll look at adding that to a later version.
Mark W. Marasch
Ethical Developer Groupmark_maraschMemberSorry about that, but we are considering the development of an iOS app! Please stay tuned.

Ethical Developer Groupmark_maraschMembercomputerchickwv,
So sorry, I thought we were designing the app for 5.0 or higher. It turns out my memory is wrong. It is designed for Android 5.1 or higher.

Ethical Developer Groupmark_maraschMembercomputerchickwv,
Sorry to hear that. I believe we were coding this app to work with versions 5.0 or higher. I need to see if we’ve set some arbitrary switch somewhere that may be preventing you from using the app.
Let me find out more and get back to you.
Thanks!
Mark W. Marasch
Ethical Developer Groupmark_maraschMemberrsegal47,
The Jolly Roger voicemail service doesn’t have to be set up for the app to score phone calls.
Can you explain further what’s going on with your Project Fi number? My guess: You tried to set up voicemail and the changes aren’t taking effect. Please let me know if I’ve got that right.
Thanks!
